Ascended Heroes Gastly vs Charmander Tech Sticker Collections

Gastly and Charmander Tech Sticker Collections have matching three-pack counts. Your favorite character and the sticker artwork are the main differences. Choose Gastly for its foil promo and Gastly/Mega Gengar sticker theme, or Charmander for its foil promo and Charmander/Mega Charizard Y theme.

Identify the exact character edition

The Gastly collection and the Charmander collection are separate named listings. Both use Mega Evolution—Ascended Heroes booster packs. They are not the Lucario or Alolan Exeggutor Tech Sticker Collections from 30th Celebration.

The phrase “Tech Sticker Collection” describes a product format, not an expansion by itself. Match game, set and character together when searching. That matters for gifts, collection checklists and pack-opening plans: a familiar character name should not cause you to buy the wrong expansion.

The promo is fixed; booster contents are random

Each sealed collection has three packs, one foil featured promo and one sticker sheet. The character choice lets you choose that promo and theme. It does not tell you which cards the three booster packs will contain.

If you want Gastly or Charmander artwork without depending on a random booster pull, the advertised promo is the relevant inclusion. If you are searching for a specific card from the expansion’s regular booster checklist, a themed collection cannot guarantee it. Separate those two goals before budgeting.

What Ghost & Fire adds

The Ghost & Fire Bundle includes one Gastly and one Charmander Tech Sticker Collection. Together they provide six Ascended Heroes packs, both listed promos and both sticker sheets. The original products stay in their sealed packaging.

Compare that pair with the six-pack Ascended Heroes Booster Bundle. The pack totals match, but the fixed extras differ. You may prefer the pair if you want both character editions, or the compact Booster Bundle if your interest is primarily the packs. Price alone is not the whole comparison.

Pairing Charmander with a larger opening

The Pack Party Bundle pairs one six-pack Booster Bundle with one Charmander collection, making nine packs. The Fire-Up Bundle pairs Focused Fighters with Charmander, making 17 packs. Neither combination adds Gastly unless it is explicitly listed.

For two people opening nine packs, decide beforehand who receives the extra pack. For 17 packs, the same planning issue applies. Fixed extras should be assigned separately if the participants expect an even split; a bundle title does not decide ownership.

A simple decision checklist

Pick the character, confirm the expansion, decide how many packs you want and compare the delivered total. Then check current stock and any timing notes. Do not count on the sticker sheet being compatible with every surface; inspect its product details before applying it to gear.

Read the tin-versus-sticker format comparison if you are also considering a four-pack tin. Use the set collection for live availability.
